Just a quick reminder...

Today is the deadline for voter registration in DC and Virginia. You wouldn't want to miss all the fun, would you?

Not only that, but I also believe that in Virginia at least if you register today you can cast your vote right then and there. Unless of course you need more time to ponder whether it's McCain or Palin or both who's the AntiChrist before you make your choice.

Sen. McCain might say I don't know the difference between strategy and tactics, but: If early voting skews heavily in favor of Obama, the McCain campaign might decide to spend more time and money in Virginia in the home stretch than it otherwise would. And more McCain voters might turn out in a race that both major parties have said will hinge on voter turnout.

Just a thought. There's something to be said for voting on election day.

Although they allow early voting in Virginia (and other states too) I don't believe they announce either the results of that voting or even the number of such votes until Election Day itself. So for your scenario to play out, McCain would need to be up to some nefariousness. Which, come to think of it, he's probably not above.
