Deep Gratitude

I got home a few hours ago, raw and sore from a session with Fatty, and what should I find in my fridge but the great big bottle of Chimay Grande Reserve ale that Jet brought last month when she came to visit. I'd absolutely forgotten about it till now, the moment when it would do me the most good. Jet, please accept my profound, heartfelt thanks. Nine bows.

I'm very glad it was put to such good use!

"raw and sore from a session with fatty" sounds different if you don't know who fatty is or what he does

no! that wasn't mike, that was me, heather (we're on a shared computer). sorry, m, for putting weird words in your mouth!

You're right though, Heather. It's an evocative phrase, particularly if you're not in the know.

Maybe I should have said oozing and seeping.

Well, I read the "coming home raw and sore from a session" bit on Sunday night, and knowing that there's a session on Sunday I was a bit concerned about what might have gone on there. So I was actually relieved when I got to the "with Fatty" part.

But I do seem to remember coming home oozing and seeping from sessions a lot back in the Nanny's days. (It would have been bile I was oozing, of course.) Good times.

Oh, *so* tempted by the TMI potential of these comments. SO tempted. Unngh.

Actually, I might have said something similar if hsempl hadn't beaten me to it.

What, about oozing and seeping not necessarily being *bad* things? ;-) Oh, wait--I'm putting words in her mouth....

Oh-KAY, I'm going to just wash my hands of this comment thread right now. Somebody bring me a bowl of water.
